Ford saw its US sales slightly decrease by 2% to 187,000 units. The blue oval providesadvance this unhappy and explained by the passage in light between two generationsof F - 150 and Mustang as well as by the (almost) withdrawal of the E-Series for thebenefit of the Transit.
In this apparent slump, Lincoln has of the game and increased 21% to 8 113 units, orits best score for 7 years. The brand is worn by MKC (2 152 units) and Navigator (+88%, 1,433 units) because the rest of the range is in the red, including the MKZunscrews 27% (2 096 units).
Ford is down 3% with 178 887 deliveries. A few reasons for satisfaction are noted. The Escape broke his record in November with 25 528 new takers (+ 22%), the Explorerand its 14 949 units (+ 13%) had not done as well since 2004 while the Mustang andits 8 728 sales (+ 62%) found the level of 2006. Note also the 4,851 Transit taking offfinally. However, this is not glorious for the range sedans which are all down exceptthe Police Interceptor (679 units, + 35.5%). The F-Series fell by 10% but retains acomfortable lead over his rivals with 59 049 units.
