The Ford Fusion is considered a safe car in America as it picks up both 5 stars in NHTSA tests and a Top Safety Pick from IIHS +. The European colleague of both organizations Euro NCAP arrives at the same conclusion as his colleagues and gives maximum rating of 5 stars sedan called Mondeo on the old continent.
Ford gets 86% for adult protection, 82% for the children (with one caveat, baby seats from 0 to 1 year can not be installed in the rear if the car receives the optional belt airbags it is better you know if any) and 66% for the protection of pedestrians and driving aids.
You'll notice in the video Euro NCAP took a break, which brings a touch of the exotic to my side of the Atlantic, but it does not carry a rear crash test so we expect that this does not change for other versions.
