FCA, une Chrysler en Chine et autres infos

CFA and Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd. (GAC) announced a preliminary agreement to expand cooperation between the two companies in China. This concerns the Chrysler and Jeep brands but also the functioning of the joint venture industrially or distribution. Four points are addressed,

- First, a car Chrysler brand will be assembled in China. The lucky winner will be announced later but except rebadging of a car of another brand, it should be the 200.
- Then reaffirmed the desire to produce 3 Jeep on site by the end of 2016. In 2018, the specialist 4x4 expects to have a full range, including imports, from the urban to the full-size SUV model.
- Also, if CAF and GAC retain separate commercial and industrial activities, career management of each self contained product terms (sales, marketing, customer service, etc ...) will be common, it is the same for construction of a second plant in Guangzhou.
- A common dealer network will be developed to begin with, the best of both Jeep and Fiat / Chrysler existing networks. The goal for FCA is to sell 760,000 cars in 2018.
